Lacus Timoris (Latin for "Lake of Fear") is a small Mare on the Moon. It is located at 38.8 ° S, 27.3 ° W and is 117 km in diameter. It was discovered in 1976 and its name was approved by the International Astronomical Union.
Lacus Timoris lies between the craters Capuanus (60 km) at east and Hainzel (70 km) at west.
