What do you see? You are wasting your time with this.

"What you see, what are you watching? What are you looking for? Did you see the UFOs? What you resolve by that?' You are wasting your time. You're repeating the same images on your blog. Aren't you bored to see always the same thing? If you've seen the Moon one time, what's the point to look at it several times? ". These are the words which I have been told by those around me, and who with which i'm used to hear.

I don't want to look like it is a big a problem for me what I wrote above. But now, being in a isolated area a few days, where I can quietly reflect on my life, I thought about writing something about the ignorance of people.

I find useless some passions some people put into practice too. But if I don't like what they do, I would not demoralize, or discourage them. Why? The answer, I challenge you to give it alone.

If we take for the example the Moon When we talk about it, we can't think to something that is in fashion, or was something fashionable. The Moon was and always will be the same. Its characteristics are always the same. That's why I think people do not appreciate it. In their minds, the Moon is in the sky, always the same. What could be interesting about it, even looking to it through a telescope, over and over? It's a waste of time, they believe. Same thing they think on observational astronomy in general. Well, there is something interesting in observation. You see the same thing over and over, but always see that astronomical object different. On some evenings, the atmosphere is clear, sometimes it is full of dust or fog; the Sun spots on the surface of the Sun are famous, and they are in constant motion; the Moon has its phases: in some nights some craters have different aspects as they had two nights ago, because sunlight lits on them at different angles all the time. Besides all this, we have astronomical events like eclipses of the Sun and Moon, occultations, conjunctions of planets, comets and asteroids that pass through our neighborhood.

As you can see, the world of astronomy is not as static and you think, and if you practice astrophotography, there is the competition with yourself and with others who share the same passion.

Types of astronomers and what you should be aware

What is the astronomy for? For most people it means knowledge, the discovery of something new up there. Without too much trouble, you can find online answers to any questions you ask and the answers you have, is because of some people who have made ​​efforts to give them to you.
When you read this article, you will think that if you like, and if you do not like the science of astronomy, you still live your life anyway. And yes, this science is more for those who are passionates about it.

But what kind of people are those who like astronomy? In my opinion there are several kinds.

I think that primarily are those who have this job, namely the scientists.

Scientists have chosen this profession because they have higher intelligence to subjects like mathematics, physics and chemistry. Thanks to them, we discover something new in astronomy and in evolving technology. Do not think their personal life is bad, like they were nerds. They are very surprising, and apply their intelligence in other plans. They are not even nerds. A nerd, is someone who does not like what he does, and repeats several times what he has to learn, to stuck it into the mind. But scientists have pleasure for a new problem to solve.

Another category of people, are those who are amateur astronomers.

In addition, they have a different job from science, and they spend  their time with a hobby such as observation by telescope and studying some selective categories of scientific discoveries made ​​by people I spoke above.
Usually, these amateur astronomers, have a lot to lose in their lives. Why? Because they have a job already for which spends 8:00 hours a day and spend the free time with what they don't do at work: telescope observations, processing astrophotos on the laptop, reading scientific articles, and this makes them not to have time for their family life / relationship.

I say this from my experience. This "hobby" is very tempting, and I fell into this passion without having managed to get out of it. In this way, they are wasting the time that they can spend it with their loved ones. I lost a 6 year relationship because the person I was, saw me as a statue on my laptop, working on my images through the telescope. Relationship cooled without to realize until I looked around me and saw what I lost.
Take extra care if you have a passion, whatever that passion may be.

The type of amateur astronomers people do not know much about the process in which a discovery was made. They devour magazines, TV and Internet news and understand them in time.

The third type of people is the one causing rumors.


Most of the people in this category are in the media and Internet sites speaking about apocalypse and disasters. The reasons are: alignments of planets, comets and asteroids that come to destroy us, Nibiru, a planet prophesied to come clode to our orbit. In short, any event which pose no real danger, is a good reason for them to shock the world and make money from the story by presenting it to the world's great danger.


The last type of people is disinterested in studying astronomy, but interested in what writes people from category shown above.


They are mass media garbage eaters. Are ordinary people who do not have the pleasure to study whether what they read is true. They are the ones who interpret how they choose, influenced by their education and religion they have. For example, the vast majority are superstitious. Their response to some "apocalyptic" ads, is from God most.

All these categories of people listed here, together combined, are giving rise to successful partnerships, or demolition. There are many stories out of the drawers, which have no value and that have made ​​internet site becoming sensational news. Many are paid to do so, so you can imagine the news will be consistent, no joke.

It is very important that before you make an opinion about a story, to check if the source is reliable,  searching through internet for other opinions. Those who write articles in newspapers do not care that they have lied. They want a big rating, and most do not even know anything about science, and take knowledge translated into other languages, even with astronomical terms mistakes.

Humans. A great enigma.

How would you feel if you were in space, without being bound by anything, just floating in the vast void of the cosmos, if you would have protective suits with oxygen tube on you? You'd be so terrified, and you'd be afraid for your life. You will want to step on something, to go, to touch something.

We are not Celestial Bodies, not rocks in space. We are made to be on a planet to hold us. We are so much made for it, even the planet allows us very hard to leave her. We must use strong missiles to defeat Earth's gravity.
Our cellular composition and of animals on this planet, fits perfectly with the composition of other materials on it. Therefore we breathe easily, and eat what grows on the planet. If here were not optimal conditions to live, and the atmosphere, plants and so on, would have different composition, we could not survive. Maybe other creatures could. By this, we understand that we were created for these substances around us.

If we evolved here, as evolutionary theory says, if we were brought here, or the aliens combined us with their DNA, or if indeed it all started with Adam and Eve, we do not know and will not know so soon. We continue to live and are constantly evolving technology and education, but we bigin not to believing in spiritual figures of holy books, because even if these figures were real, they lived on Earth long ago and now, after thousands of years, people no longer hope that they really exist.

We just assume things that might have been once, in a few scratches on the walls, in ancient alphabets as those of the Sumerians, or ancient writings in India, massive stones could not be carried by people, and objects that are older than we thought.

Why should we think the world has never known technological glory like today? We, after many extinctions, went on this road of technological developments. Maybe they used to have developed a different technology, which we do not imagine it would work. Perhaps then, people used something else instead of the fuel of today, or maybe people had a different genetic structure allowed them to do things which look to us like science fiction.
Even in the Bible it is written that before Noah, was another sky and people breathe another type of air. They were not eating animals. After the flood, everything was different.

There are many things that you should not take for granted at first. People from the past knew how the continents looked like before we knew. There is a map that could not be achieved bun only from an aerial view, at a big height from the planet. We in our time have barely managed to get our head above the Earth's atmosphere to see the planet in all its splendor.

So, how were the people of the ancient world? What they knew about astronomy without telescopes? Today's technology has evolved so much that can satisfy our almost every desire, to make our life easier. If we think of the people who lived 4000 years ago, we can not imagine them more than primitive people. But we do not know what it was then. It is possible that they had another form of technology that is impossible for us know it, because many times we took it all over again. Noah's flood is just one example.

Arheological findings showed that we underestimated our ancestors. We found watches, machines, light bulbs dating back before the official appearance of man. Writings from India describe aircraft that did not worked by fuel. They named them 'Vimana'. Whether we have been visited by alien civilizations, or was just our technology, it is clear that the Earth has been known technology in the past and what we have achieved so far is only the top discoveries of our time.

The extraordinary Universe

From childhood, I was fascinated by this reality. I was actually more interested in what lies beyond this planet than what exist near me, things which I know anyway. Why? Because it seemed and seems to me now, so mysterious to hear that a planet is just floating in outer space, without anyone to hold it, to hear of untouched mountains and craters that are on other celestial bodies, about comets beyond the planets that come and go in distant worlds.

My attention was involuntarily increased to these topics about science, without loving physics and mathematics.
What is so extraordinary about this space? It's dead, is not a creature. And yet, we make big eyes when we hear about a breakthrough in astronomy. Why? I bet it's because we want to find another alternative, to live differently, because we want another world, the best life which here is not found, not as we want it to be. Looking for a rescue.

Another reason we like astronomy is knowledge. We want to know things beyond us more than ever, now, in this time we're live in, as science came so close to the accomplishing much of what we have always thought to be fiction.
People have uninhibited minds of everyday problems when watching a science documentary. When I talked to some friends about what I know about the cosmos, I've noticed on them a mental relaxation, a detachment from reality. Questions began to flow and so my answers making ​​them dreaming of another world.

These stories are not related to people on earth, laws, bills, banks, work and religions, but these are neutral things, which we can not judge, because are faaaar from us and that makes us stop and wonder and to look wide-eyed at what happens to millions and millions of kilometers away from the planet.

We live in a solar system, only one of billions of solar systems in the Universe, surrounding once a year a star called the Sun. There's no reason to refuse the place where you are. You are now conquered by wonder, exaltation, the thirst to know. Works more than a religion that tells you things that you should do even if you do not like. Astronomy stops you in time, and your heart starts beating slower. You will start to look up, and you think you look down.

Astronomy is so  extraordinary, and people do not appreciate it. In the moment when you realize where you are in the Universe, you will see how great life is on this planet. You will realize that in the reality in which you are, small problems does not make sense to you on this lower level of your existence in which maybe you felt victimized or hurt by something. At the cosmic level these issues are inconspicuous.

Ancient Astronaut theory

You may have seen a documentary called Chariots of Gods, produced by Erich von Däniken in 70's.This man developed a new variant of explanation of relics, monuments, inscriptions or ancient landforms dating back thousands of years before the era we live in . We know too little about ancient astronaut theory, in which Daniken believes strongly and rightly as it poses serious arguments.
Me, like many others, believe that we are not belong this planet,.We come from somewhere else, or we were created by beings from another part by combining their DNA with something (perhaps monkeys) on this planet, which would signify the discovery of the missing link (perhaps you've heard this phrase) in the scale of human evolution.

Genesis, Adam and Eve, Moses, Jesus, all have an explanation in the ancient astronaut theory.
How to translate this theory? I think it means two things: First thing: human beings have visited Earth from elsewhere in the past (and still visits us or may have stayed here), thousands of years ago, and created man on Earth. The second thing: all religions on this planet are because of contacts between people and visitors from other locations other than on Earth at different times, and people who had contact were "inspired" to write the holy books, which were the purpose of the visitors for people to evolve.Others supposedly came to exploit the riches of the planet (eg the Nazca lines).
