Mare Crisium (555 km) from the Moon, was captured here in its entirety through the telescope. Edge of the basin is well defined, giving the impression of an embroidered lace all around it. It has a round sea, not as seen from Earth in an oval shape.
This distinctive dark "sea" near the eastern edge of the Moon, is very unusual, being separated from all other seas.
