This is Moon's South Pole. It is full of impacts of all sizes.
This below image is upside down, to be seen better features of this area.
A portion of the giant crater Bailly , is shown in right. It has a diameter of 303 km and a depth of 4.3 km. The best time to observe the crater is when is almost Full Moon, because the position of this crater is very close to the terminal.
Crater Kircher is part of the trio craters Zucchius, Bettinus and Kircher.
