This is Jupiter as seen on October 29, 2011. Images are from an older video, but they were brought to light only now because now it was time to be processed.
Eight space probes have visited Jupiter so far:
Pioneer 10 and 11, Voyager 1 and 2, Galileo, Cassini, Ulysses and New Horizons. The Juno mission to Jupiter is in progress and will arrive in July 2016. Other future missions will focus on satellites of Jupiter: Europa, Ganymede, Callisto and their underground oceans.
