UFO Deception or reality?

We all know today about the UFO phenomenon. We see in television news, print media, documentaries or youtube, unidentified objects appearances, debated by circles who believe, or who are skeptical.
  I decided to talk about this very delicate issue, because I've seen such phenomena. Are UFO sightings deception or reality?


I begin by talking about the past, when people reported such sightings along the decades which were more spread in newspapers. The first time they were called "flying saucers", later to be given the name of UFOs. At that time, the '30s until the advent of the Internet, people had limited media. Since the development of the Internet, however, the world has been connected by a mouse click away.

And like others, I am divided in opinions. I tend to think, however, that this phenomenon exists even though I have some reservations.

Why should I believe that the UFO phenomenon is not real?

The first reason is the religious one. In this time we live in, I felt pressure from televisions and I am referring more to documentaries such as "Ancient Astronauts" or "UFO Hunters" There you can see many parallels between ancient writings and UFOs , Ie extraterrestrial civilizations that have visited Earth, and would have been perceived by humans as heavenly kings and gods and their aircrafts then interpreted by people as huge birds, fire-breathing dragons, floating cities, etc.. Even the Christian Bible events were discussed and explained.
Here comes the dilemma: are these documentaries meant to shake the foundations of the religions of their people not to believe in God? For if we believe that God is an alien being just one of the many who have given birth to religions, then we lower Him to the level of a material being like any other, be it genetically evolved, and not the one who created the universe and all that is in it.


The second reason would be americans. I think that many are agree with me when I say that the UFO phenomenon is much more common in the U.S., much more developed than in other parts of the world. That makes me go to some suspicion. Some explanations which I am thinking would be:

 -are these ufos manufactured by americans for other countries to be intimidated by U.S. secrets would hold about so called visitors?
 - are these objects made ​​by americans borrowing technology from aliens?
 - did the extraterrestrial civilizations chose America as their liking?

Why should I believe that the UFO phenomenon is real?

First, humanity evolves. Look around, and it's not hard to figure out. Today's technology is totally superior to that of biblical times. We will always evolve. In Bible times people had no knowledge of airplanes, cars, internet. These people could be describing these as miracles shrouded in mystery, gods, angels, etc.. That makes me understand that those who have left writings about an advanced technology, they could not describe what they saw but only in a mystical way, and we can not blame them. Now, with the Internet, we make connections more easily and we explain some dilemmas easier. All is like puzzle pieces waiting to be put in their place, and it will be at some point.

Secondly, the more time passes we gather more information about the phenomenon, and even wake up and see that we are not so unique. As before we believed that the Earth was the center of the Universe and in fact it was not, so now we can come to the time where you have to question the identity of God. And you should note that all these discoveries which were made in the past and now is done only with the help of science. There will come times in which saying that God is like we considered as today, will be like saying that the sun revolves around the Earth.
Maybe one day we discover the existence of the soul through science and invisible things will be common.
What is the current perception of the people about UFOs?
  I think today, opinions are divided among Christians, which indicates that we are in a time of change.
Of those who go to church, most are convinced that there is no life outside of that on our planet in the whole Universe.
Of those who do not go to church, most believe that there is life elsewhere in the Universe, but I do not think we were or we are contacted or visited by extraterrestrial civilizations.
  It remains a very small part of Christians that believe what I tend to think: we were visited, and so was born Christianity and all other religions. Personally, I feel a relief of mind, a dispel of a fear that religion gave me since I was a child, about a God who sees all, that even punishing me just because I think, and believe me, so we think, so we will have our life: full of fear, negativity and grief.

To travel those distances, You have go faster then the speed of light, Why can't they be, in an evolutionary stage as just microscopic beeings? or dinosaurs . Day by day, new solar systems are found, more then they ever expected, so its just a mater of time. They are not here, but we know they are there. And some day we will know for sure that we are not alone.

My UFO observations and analysis.

I observe and photograph / film since August 2008 through my telescope. It is like my second job. Most I've dedicated the time for lunar observations, as you see in this blog. Therefore I'm also looking if there are unusual unidentified objects or phenomena.

We've had cases where:

- I immediately saw the strange phenomena.

- I noticed watching home videos made ​​by telescope frame by frame, because I process all clips and nilly I see some phenomena.

Of these, the most often were birds passing with speed in front of the Moon.

Those in which it is obvious that there are birds, I exclude them, but the ones I can not define what it is, I study them more in editing programs for slow motion, contrast, image stabilization, etc..

Many sites U.F.O.'s can actually be:

-birds
-artificial satellite
-ISS (International Space Station)
-hot-air lanterns
-planets
-globular lightning (rarely, but I have seen it one time)

I have never seen U.F.O.'s like mechanical objects (by eye), only bright objects. I like to parallel what we have seen with beans of light, no tail and without light radiation as something like a meteor burning in the atmosphere.


One case was when I had the video camera mounted on the telescope and filming, but my eyes was not on display but on the Moon, when it appeared that light as a light bean crossing over the Moon disc horizontally. I was amazed that it did not seem to be any natural phenomena I've seen.

In a few seconds, another one appeared on the left side of the Moon, heading in the same direction, and disappeared.

What really amazed me was the constant speed, because it didn't have a very high speed like a meteor. Meteors are very fast and very bright when scrub with Earth's atmosphere, burning. These, however, have none of the characteristics of a meteor.

I thought I caught it on video and I was very excited that at home I'll see the object when I run the movie, but nothing. I realized that I was filming the northern part of the lunar disk, not south, where the subject has passed, but the telescope is projecting the image upside down, and I lived with the feeling that I shot the south of the Moon.

How can we realize that what we see is an U.F.O. or not.

We can tell pretty easily if what we see (with the naked eye or a telescope) is an U.F.O. or not:

-an unidentified flying object does not have a tail behind. That is a "shooting star" or meteor.
-not radiating glow or blink to burn, do not let a smoke back or disintegrate in Earth's atmosphere. It may be a meteorite.
- it does not usually have a fixed direction, but some maneuvers. So if you see a "walking star" across the sky from one end to another with a single route, it may be a satellite or the ISS (International Space Station).
-an U.F.O.. is an object / light that can have light of it's own, without always reflecting the sunlight as satellites do. Points or bright spheres are the most interesting because they are illuminated by the Sun or have a light of their own. A bird can not be illuminated by the sun at night. It must fly at great height. But it is possible that black points are UFOs. To these I consider that it takes a lot of video / photo material to see if perhaps shows wings of a bird at a time. Any evidence may be helpful.

On 14 August 2011, in front of the Moon but in our atmosphere, has passed a black object at high speed, which can not be a bird because it shows no wings.

On July 16, 2011, I filmed the Moon craters through the telescope. In front of Langrenus crater, the camera suddenly focused an object which appears to have a zigzag motion, but that is because our atmosphere which distorts the image. It is clear that for a moment, the camera focus and turned it's attention to something that was there.

An example of developing a luminous object I can give here.

A. During the eclipse of 25 April 2013, I saw this light on the Moon.

B. While filming the planet Jupiter with its moons on August 29, 2012 (light at the bottom of the image).

In conclusion, I believe that we are not alone. We would be naive to think that all the hundreds of billions of galaxies in the Universe are dead worlds, and only ours to be lucky to have a planet with life.

It is estimated that there are 17 billion planets the size of our planet at optimum distance from their star in our galaxy alone, but do not know yet those that are habitant. If you multiply this number of planets by how many galaxies are in the Universe, you can tell how many chances are for life to exist elsewhere.

Mistery solved: it's not a UFO, it's a fly

I have sectioned, zoomed, brightened the object that slowed in my video through a telescope on the night of lunar eclipse that took place on 25 April 2013. Then, I thought for sure that in the video appeared a bright object on the Moon.

 It seems I managed to solve the mystery: a fly, possibly a moth, possibly a bat. It depends on the distance from where they are.
I managed to adjust contrasts, so as to see the behavior of the "object" during the flight, and also to see more clear the changing of it's form.

In the video below, we see a chaotic behavior, which a flying object I do not think it could have, which it reaches the edge of the Moon just before getting in front of the Lunar disk, and here's a small, playful thing, flapping it's wings, you can not deny it's there.
I could not see it so well at the first time, because the image was upside down, as seen through the telescope.

Even if it makes its appearance as a light in the video (which made ​​me first think it's an unidentified object), it doesn't matter. Perhaps being on auto exposure, the camera chose to increase its luminosity on the fly / bird, or maybe the fly / bird was illuminated by the city.
In conclusion, I'm glad I have solved this mystery, while I'm sorry that it was not a UFO. My eyes are still looking for a real one, and I hope the wait will not be too long.

UFO during the eclipse of the Moon April 25, 2013

I've filmed an astronomical event, on 25th April 2013, namely the partial eclipse of the Moon. It seems that while I've scrolled frame by frame the video made ​​with video camera mounted on the telescope, I saw this light on the Moon. I first thought it's not real when I saw the video at normal speed, but when I looked again, here it is: bright and playful, impossible to deny it's there.

The object is not moving behind the Moon, but remains in her front, when it gets in the light (lunar disk). It can be seen as it continues its journey, and even has a stationary moment, and after that, is leaving the lunar disk on the top and disappears. To observe the object on the bright disk of the Moon, please see the picture again and again, and you will locate the object.

I'm an observer through the telescope since 2008, and as you can see this blog, I'm not playing, and I've took the job seriously and so I would not permit myself to make jokes, coming with fabricated fake clips.

I expect comments with explanations of all sorts, but first read what I have to say.

-The phenomenon can not be explained as a fly / bird (it would appear black) because this object is shiny.

-Also, it can not be a satellite, because in the video the object is seen that is stationary for a moment or decreasing speed, and besides that, it moves in several directions. Satellites do not change direction so quickly.

It can not be a natural phenomenon.

This does contain information to which would account for the bird or bat they would not have been in direct sun light. It also displays light which could have come from the moon, but unlikely do to its movement with the moon and frame. The image could be a satellite and due to its rotation and movement reflect direct sunlight, a lot of Geo’s are seen with the moon being a backdrop.

Did you see the object/artifact with your eye at the time it occurred?

Or only afterwards while watching the video?

I suspect bird(s) or bat(s). The wandering behavior of the dark spot is very bat like.

And/or it could be optical defect(s) that moves within the image due to small movements of the moon within the scope/camera field.

I don't see any way to know that the object/artifact "flies higher and higher" as stated on your video. The video contains no 3-d distance information. Stan.

Stan, the object is close to the Moon for sure. Otherwise, would be always shining if it were to be lit by the Sun (and on the Earth atmosphere). But the object begun to shine as approaching the Moon.

 Wow, a very curious capture to be sure! To my eye the object is traveling in a slight arc, suggesting maybe MAYBE it is an asteroid that was making a grazing pass by the Moon. It appears to do a little "dance" as it crosses the face of the Moon, but I think this is simply because the shadow of the object has a higher contrast and we see that shadow following the contours of the Moon's topology instead of the object itself.

 Seriously doubt this was an asteroid. One large enough to look like that

would be well known and publicized. What is it? Could be anything from space
junk, to near sky objects--insects, you name it. Just because it looks like
it is cruising the Moon, that doesn't mean anything, and again to show up

I don't know if we can definitively rule out an asteroid. If it came from out of the ecliptic plane and/or from the direction of the Sun, we would not necessarily see it. Nobody saw the meteor that exploded over Russia back in February, and it was the size of an apartment building. It could of course just as easily be a satellite that is more in the foreground. Looks like a bird transit to me. I just finished a study I did for my university that used video captures of lunar bird transits to track patterns in migratory behavior. After watching dozens of clips like this for my project, it looks like a bird to me. There are sometimes interesting reflections that can occur right when a bird approaches the limb of the moon. Here's a composite image I made of a bird transit. Higher altitude ones look very similar to what you captured.

The object takes about 3 seconds to pass in front of the Moon. If it is at Moon's distance, its speed would be about 300 km/sec, much higher than almost any body in our galaxy.

The object seems to be in focus. I would say that its apparent diameter is no larger than 20", comparable to Saturn. If your telescope diameter is 20 cm, then its minimum distance to be reasonably in focus is 206.000 / 20 times the diameter, about 2 km. If its angular velocity is about 3'/sec, then its transversal speed at that distance would be about 2 m/sec.

What was the altitude of the Moon from the horizon? Depending on the angle you would have a minimum hight for the object. Bats or insects do not fly 2 km from the ground, but if the angle was low, they cannot be discarded.

As a matter of fact, it is difficult to distinguish in your photographs
between artefact and real information.
Indeed, the moon disk is surrounding by a strong artefact which make any
tentatative explanation worthless.
I don't know where the problem is : in the camera used, the data
acquisition or the processing.
In any case, my suggestion would be first to obtain neat images without
any artefact.

A UFO filmed by my astronomical telescope?

Is this a UFO shot through my telescope? I do not know how did this black point appeared in front of Langrenus crater on the Moon. This video was left forgotten on my PC, which I had to do a story, but I found it later in folders and I thought to publish it now. Date that I've shot this was July 16, 2011.

I've looked very carefully as it appeared from beginning to end, when the object disappeared.

I can not judge the distance at which flies. It is clear that the focus of the camera, which was set to auto, could not help but move it's attention "accidentally" on other areas but craters on the Moon.

Zigzag motion of the object is given by the bad atmosphere conditions. What I believe, is that the object did not had such movements, but one thing is certain: it moved in one direction as seen in video, from top to down.

  What is this, I don't know. There are many explanations. one of them would be a small garbage left on Earth's orbit, from deactivated satellites, but remaining suspended until a time when they will collapse on the ground.

Another explanation might be that the object is between the Moon and the Earth, an extraterrestrial object, or .... earthly, if something happens on the Moon, which is classified.

Other explanations I ask you to give in the comments.

U.F.O. near Jupiter through my telescope

         On August 14, 2011, I shot Jupiter on a field near Baia Mare. I have not yet started to process the video files, because as soon as I did play the first video I saw this white point heading for Jupiter. I do not know whether to Jupiter, or if it was closer to us, but the coincidence is to disappear just when he arrived in his area, because it did not pass it.
         Like almost all the objects, this one I did not see it on the camera then, but only after I viewed the video at home. I am sorry the picture is unstable, because then I was preparing to stabilize the telescope, but for me it's enough, given that these phenomenas are rare.
 I cut that portion of the video and I've stabilized the images in Sony Vegas 10 for the analysis.

Video- UFO through my telescope

This video was edited to see as many details of the object in front of Moon that appeared while filming it.

It's just one of many "speeders" I've catched through the telescope. it is an Unidentified flying object(UFO), which does not mean it's extraterrestrial in origin, because it can be anything.

We must consider the size of the Moon in relation to the size of the object passing in front of the Moon. Image is magnified by the telescope enough, and a bird would block the whole picture. An insect that passes close to the telescope is a possibility, but there has to be taken into account the velocity, because it was very fast.
From what I saw in the video and is for sure, the object is gradually going clearer as it is moving from the left to the right. The last frames are the most focalized on it.
It's hard to say whether is a remnant of a satellite in the foreground, or a small asteroid, or, as the object direction is from north to south, maybe was a satellite.

          To make video captures of the Moon, I have to take the video file, add it to the editing program and run it frame by frame to capture the best catch of the Moon, craters on it, or planets. This process is very demanding and requires a long time. Throughout these small steps that make on videos, I captured many objects I can say. This is one of them.
