Arzachel (97 km) is on Mare Nubium.Arzachel is a young crater situated in mountainous areas in south-central part of the Moon visible from Earth, near the zero meridian.this crater lies south of the crater Alphonsus, and together with Ptolemaeus- is not visible in photo, form a prominent line of craters. It is remarkably clear in its structure and for amateur astronomers is a hot topic. Arzachel has terraces showing detailed inwards, especially on the eastern edge wich is slightly higher.
Crater name comes from Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Yahya al-Zarqa al-Naqqāsh (1029-1087), latinized as Arzachel.Hewas an instrument maker and one high-ranking astronomers in theory and practice of his time. Although his name is Al-Zarqa, is likely to have been the correct form-Zarqālluh. He lived in Toledo in Castile. His works have inspired a generation of Islamic astronomers from Andalusia.
Thebit crater (57 km)- center above in photo.Thebit is an impact crater located on the southeast shore of Mare Nubium. On Thebit's east is Thebit P (78 km), which is flooded with debris and it is a crater actually larger in diameter than Thebit itself.
Thebit's name is given from Al-Sabi Thabit ibn Qurra al-Harran (February 18, 836-901) who was a physicist known as Thebit in latin. He was a great translator, astronomer and mathematician.

The extension of Thebit P, Rupes Recta-in camera is seen as a crack, which has a length of 110 km,and a height of 240 m. It is located on Mare Nubium.
