In these photos are Ptolemaeus (153 km), Alphonsus (108 km), Herschel (41 km), Flammarion (75 km), Mösting (26 km), Gyldén (47 km) and Reaumur (53 km).
Crater Ptolemaeus (Ptolemy), is a crater that has this name on both Mars and the Moon. I talked about this crater in other articles.
As Ptolemaeus, Herschel (41 km) have it's name also on a crater on Mars, and even on Saturn's moon Mimas.
The edge of this crater is generally circular, although the west side is good. The interior walls are terraced. On the floor is a central peak. This peak is offset slightly to the west of the crater mid-point.
North of the crater Herschel is Sporer (28 km), which is flooded, and eastward is Gyldén crater, disintegrated. To the northwest is Flammarion (75 km) along the southern edge of the Sinus Medii.
Gyldén (47 km), has a heart shape, and was greatly eroded by the impact. On the floor are a few peaks and valleys with mixed forms . Gyldén A satellite crater is attached to the northern boundary.
Flammarion (75 km) is the same, a lunar crater, and martian. The external wall has been affected by impacts, and is broken in the north-west. The most intacted wall is on south-east. Crater floor was flooded by lava, and is relatively smooth, with only a few small scattered craters on the area.
Mösting (26 km), is a small lunar crater that is located in south-eastern edge of Mare Insularum.Sömmering crater (28 km) lies north-west. Mösting has a terraced inner wall and a small hill in the center.
Réaumur (53 km). His walls are heavily eroded, and the northern half consists of a series of low rises. Southern edge have small craters. The interior is smooth and flat, with no significant features.
