Tycho (85 km.). I talked about this crater in previous articles

Longomontanus (145 km.) is located in the ancient southern highlands of the Moon, located southwest of the bright rays of Tycho crater. It is a variety of configurations, although it is actually more a circular depression on the surface. Due to its location Longomontanus appears oval when viewed from Earth.
On north (in photo) of Longomontanus is Clavius (225 km.), and north-west is Maginus (163 Km.).
Longomontanus's walls have strong previous impacts. On the southern edge it shows multiple small craters superimposed. North-west is a semi-circular ridge that looks like a lip called Longomontanus Z. Longomontanus still shows a small group of central peaks.

Maginus is an old impact crater on north of the crater Tycho. It's a big party about three quarters the diameter of Clavius, which is in the top center in photo. On the south of Maginus is Proctor crater, and on north is DeLuc.

Longomontanus crater (145 km)-in photo 2 is at the center. This is an old impact crater dating from the  Nectarian period that presents a lower floor formed of ejecting the liquefied lava from near one of the major basins such as Mare Imbrium or Mare Orientale.
Crater is the name is given from Longomontanus Christen Sørensen (or Longberg) (4 October 1562 - 8 October 1647), which was a Danish astronomer.
In the first photo at left is the crater Tycho (85 km), which although is a small in diameter, shows a visible-ray visible even with the naked eye.The rays spread out about 1500 km.

Darkness blocking half Longomontanus's floor.

Among all the craters in this phase of the areas that are very close to the terminal, two large craters are distinct: Longomontanus (145 km) and Wilhelm (107 km). Note the Longomontanus's edge shadows, peaks which are projected on its beautiful floor. Almost half of the floor is shadowed by these peaks.

Wilhelm is in the dark at a rate of about 85%. Stuck on the southwestern edge, is Lagalla (85 km) definitely an older crater than Wilhelm, as it can be seen that the latter has the whole edge, which means that its impact has occurred over the crater Lagalla, lacking edge on northeast.

Distance: 393696 km
Phase: 26.6% (0% = New, 100% = Full)

Longomontanus crater.
It is 90 km in diameter, with a broken rim of depression, especially in the northwest. A peak on these edges rises to an altitude of 3962 meters above the ground. There are many fields in the northwest, and some hills and craters elsewhere. It is also crossed by the rays of Tycho crater.
