2016 is full of surprises for observers worldwide. A lot of events will take place this year from occultations to eclipses.

►15 October 2016 - Uranus opposition. Uranus will be the closest to Earth and Its face will be fully illuminated by the sun.
►16 October 2016 - Full Moon. Earth will be between the Sun and Moon, and therefore, the Moon will be fully illuminated as seen from Earth. This phase occurs at 6:23.

►21,22 October 2016 - Orionids Meteor shower. Orionids meteor shower is a medium intensity, producing about 20 meteors per hour. Orionids originate from comet Halley. This year, the last quarter of the moon will make this event a favorable time for observation.
